Hackathon Project
Connecting people who need help with those who are willing to give it.
A lightweight app concept built during a community hackathon in the early days of the COVID pandemic.

Diels was built during a community hackathon in the early days of the COVID pandemic, when many people, especially those who were elderly, ill, or shielding, suddenly couldn't manage everyday tasks like grocery runs or walking a dog. At the same time, others had time on their hands and wanted to help.

The concept was a lightweight app that connected people who needed help with nearby volunteers willing to provide it. The focus was on speed and accessibility: making it easy to ask for help without friction, and easy to offer help without committing to anything heavy.
Diels was a fast, time-boxed piece of work in a high-pressure context. It is included here as a record of that moment rather than as a polished product, and reflects a willingness to put design skills toward something useful when it matters.
