Designing an accessible entry point into automated crypto trading.
The goal of this self-initiated project was to design a tool that would let non-technical users configure and run their own trading bots.
Crypto trading bots automate buying and selling based on predefined strategies. Setting one up required significant technical knowledge and hands on experimentation with code. For anyone curious about the space but without a development background, the barrier to entry was simply too high.
There was no accessible way for non-technical users to explore automated trading. The tools that existed were built for developers, not for people who understood trading strategies but could not write the code to execute them.
I explored this space personally before designing for it, setting up and running my own trading bots to understand how they worked and where the friction was. From that experience I designed a concept tool that would let users configure and run their own bots without needing to write code. The whole project was self-initiated and self-directed.
voFarm is not a shipped product but it reflects something consistent across my work: a willingness to go deep into complex or unfamiliar territory before trying to simplify it for others. Automated crypto trading was a niche and technical space at the time. Getting into it properly was the only way to design for it honestly.
